Applications to register for the 2026-27 school year will be available beginning January 12. A link will be posted here on that date. Applications will be accepted until February 27. Families will be notified by March 19th if they have been accepted into the program.

Philosophy
At the Mini Rams Preschool we believe in child-centered and play-based learning. We strive to encourage independence and self-confidence, along with group cooperation, through large group, small group, and one-on-one participation in a variety of hands-on, interactive experiences. Our curriculum incorporates the Ohio Early Learning and Developmental Standards of language and literacy, mathematics, writing, science and social studies, art, fine and gross motor skills, and social/emotional skills. We put individual needs of each child, their learning styles, and interests, into the core of our lesson plans to ensure their success and eventual kindergarten readiness. our goal is not only to teach but also to inspire children to find a true love of learning and exploring the world.

Classes for the 2025-26 school year will be held Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:55 p.m. at Seaborn Elementary School starting September 2025-May 2026. The cost is $325/month. Click here to make your payment online.

Closings, Delays, or Cancelations

We will follow the Weathersfield Local School District calendar for the year. Any days the school district is off, the preschool will also be closed.

The final decision for closing of school for emergency purposes is left up to the district superintendent of schools. The closing of school during inclement weather or severe emergencies will be announced during the early morning hours on radio and television stations. If there is a snow day cancellation for Seaborn Elementary, the preschool will also be closed. In the case of a two hour delay, preschool students will report at 11:00am.

Lunch

Lunch can be purchased from Seaborn Elementary school. Regular school lunches cost $2.75. Lunch menus will be sent home monthly. Cafeteria lunches include milk. Each child will be set up with a lunch account and monies will be added to it as they are sent. Information about setting up lunch accounts will be sent home the first week of school Free and reduced lunches are also available. Every family will receive a form to fill out at the beginning of the school year. Please fill it out and return it to your teacher. Cafeteria lunches are nutritious and are planned by the cafeteria supervisor. Lunches that are served by the cafeteria personnel must meet State requirements. Each child will receive a copy of the monthly menu at the beginning of each month.

Children may also pack their lunches. Children who pack their lunches may purchase milk in the cafeteria ($.60).

Program Information

Enrollment is for students ages 4 and 5.

The program runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:55 p.m. There will be no preschool on days where Seaborn Elementary School has a scheduled early dismissal. Parents are required to provide transportation to and from the program. Any student eligible for transportation through the district will be notified.

Cost of the program is $325/month

Families may submit applications for program consideration in January. A link will be provided at that time.
