Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Weathersfield Local School District! It has been my privilege to serve as Superintendent of the district since 2009. Home to nearly 1,000 students our district is proud to be recognized as one of the few in the state that exceeds or significantly exceeds state standards in five of five components, as rated by the Ohio Department of Education. In 2022, we were also honored to have Seaborn Elementary School selected as a National Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. Our staff are all highly qualified in the field of education and take great pride in helping students succeed. We offer a variety of academic (honors and college-level classes), athletic (14 varsity teams, 9 junior high teams) performance (band, choir, theater), and extracurricular activities (yearbook, MRTV, Art Club, History Club, Ski Club, and more!) for students to participate in throughout the year. Our district is dedicated to enhancing effective student learning while supporting a community of life-long learners!
