Weathersfield Local School District
Board of Education

Hello everyone,

Some one once told me, No matter what happens keep trying to do your best and your best will make you shine!

I am excited about the future and the good things that can happen...

Please have faith that 2010 can only get better, keeping in mind that the decisions we make are in the best interest of the students, staff and community.

I would like to thank the rest of the Board for giving me their support, we are a great team...

Mrs. Tracey Thomas
Board President

THANK YOU FOR THE PRIVLILEGE OF SERVING YOU AND OUR COMMUNITY!

I am an life-long resident of Weathersfield Local School District. I enjoyed my education, starting at Seaborn Elementary, through  Mineral Ridge High School. I participated in football, basketball, track, baseball, Beta Club, and student council.

After high school, I graduated from Youngstown State University, served as a member of the Weathersfield Strategic Planning Committee, and served for many years as an officer of Seaborn Home and School Association. I have been a volunteer with the Mineral Ridge Athletic Association for the last 12 years.

We have a great school system, both academic and athletic.

Our school has improved tremendously through the years.  We have brought new courses of study to our students that will better prepare them for the future.  We, as Board of Education, continually look to improve our education programs and our facilities.

As my family and friends say,”I BLEED ORANGE AND BLACK”

Mr. Bruce Bacak
Board Vice-President

It is such a great pleasure to serve you as a member of the Board of Education! There are so many positive things going on in our schools every day--keep up the good work!

This is my 28th year working in the Youngstown City Schools currently as a Coordinator and previously as a teacher.
Supporting public education has always been a priority to me--I will continue to work for excellence in education for
our children.

I want to wish all of our students, staff, administration, and parents a wonderful, productive, and successful school
year! I look forward to seeing you at various school functions and around our community !!

Thank You,
